Hello!
My name is Jason and I am an Information Designer with a passion for designing content that centres around meeting human needs. My design journey began in a software development program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology where I was following my passion for computers, technology and learning how to code. In my first year of this program I took a user experience design course and realized that the design world was my calling, falling in love with the research, prototyping and iteration in application design. From there I enrolled in the Information Design program at Mount Royal University with the goal of working in the design industry to help educate and improve user experiences to be more human centred in our ever more technology reliant world. This journey hasn't been easy but I haven't looked back. I am excited to continue to grow my skills as a designer as I take on new challenges and continue to hone my design skills. Some of the ways I have fun outside the design world includes building computers, playing video games, working on cars and trying new and exciting foods. For me, I love diving deep into my interests, constantly learning new skills and seeing things from perspectives that I previously had not considered.
